MyPick is a service owned and operated by PickOS Inc., its parent company. MyPick is the service name; PickOS Inc. is the legal entity operating the service.

In this document, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PickOS Inc. References to MyPick’s rights, obligations, or actions mean PickOS Inc. acting through the MyPick service. References to the MyPick website, apps, marketplace, or platform describe the service. For agreements with MyPick, your contracting party is PickOS Inc.; the responsibilities of sellers and other third parties remain as described in the applicable agreement.

1. About This Notice

This notice explains when and how MyPick uses location information, the choices you have, and how location-derived data is shared and retained. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. When We Use Location

Delivery address validation. Confirming that the address you enter is complete and deliverable so orders ship correctly.
Shipping estimates. Calculating delivery windows and shipping options based on distance and destination.
Nearby recommendations. Highlighting products, sellers, and promotions relevant to your general area.
Fraud prevention. Checking whether account or payment activity is consistent with your usual location patterns.
Maps display. Rendering map views where a feature requires one.

3. Types of Location Data

We work with two kinds of location information. Coarse location — such as a city or postal code derived from your IP address or from the address on your account — is used for shipping estimates and recommendations. Precise location — GPS-level coordinates from your mobile device — is used only when a specific feature needs it and only while you are using that feature. We do not collect background location: MyPick does not track your location when the app is closed or running in the background.

4. Permissions and Controls

Location access is controlled by the settings of your device's operating system. You can grant or deny permission at any time, and on mobile you can choose one-time access, access only while using the app, or deny entirely. When you change permission settings, the change takes effect for future use of the affected feature.

5. Features Without Permission

You can use MyPick without granting location permission. Where permission is denied, location-dependent features degrade gracefully: you can still enter a delivery address manually, see standard shipping estimates, and browse the full catalog. Nearby recommendations and address auto-completion may be less accurate or unavailable, but nothing essential to purchasing depends on location access.

6. Sharing of Location Data

Location-derived data is shared only as needed to deliver the feature at issue: with our maps provider to render maps and validate addresses, and with logistics partners to the extent needed to ship and deliver your orders. We do not share location data with advertisers, and we do not sell it.

7. Retention

We minimize location-derived data and keep it only as long as needed for the purpose collected. For example, a validated delivery address is kept with the order record, while precise-location signals used for a single feature are not retained beyond that use. 8. Third-Party Maps Terms

When a map is displayed within the platform, the underlying map imagery and geocoding are supplied by a third-party maps provider. Your use of those map displays is also governed by the provider's own terms, which are presented or referenced where maps appear. MyPick selects the provider and sets the purposes for which map services are used, but the map technology itself is operated under the provider's terms.

We update this notice when our location practices change, following the process described in our Policy Updates & Change Notice. Questions about how location is used can be sent through the Contact Us page on the platform or through in-app support.
